Hello!

I’m Byron, a designer and maker based in London.

For me, the process of both designing and making act as a medium with which I am most confident in explaining myself, it acts as a means to ask questions about the world through furniture and objects.

My practice stands for recognising the responsibility that I have as a creative: my consistent thread through different projects and materials is a focus on being able to make with what can be found or sourced locally.

My studio is based in northeast London - I treat the city as a “pantry” of waste and materials to play with, I want to play with people’s curiosity, and intrigue them with fun forms and materials.

I feel that they have a commonality in how they have been discarded by others, and my approach is to imbue them with new value by elevating them into beautiful furniture and objects.

I have been fortunate enough to work with clients such as House of Grey, Nina&Co, David Linely, Bompass&Parr, Henry Holland Studio, AREYOUMAD and OPEN! and am always looking for new and exciting opportunities for collaboration - feel free to get in touch!
