HELLO

I’m Byron, a designer and maker based in London.

For me, the process of both designing and making acts as a means to ask questions about the world through furniture and objects.

My practice is based on recognising the responsibility that I have as a creative: the consistent thread through all of my different projects is making with what can be found or sourced locally, whether that is waste plasterboard from building sites, or timber offcuts from other makers.

My studio is based in northeast London - I treat the city as a “pantry” of materials to play with. I believe that these waste materials share a commonality in how they have been discarded by others, and my approach is to imbue them with new value by transforming them into beautiful objects.

I have been fortunate enough to work with clients such as House of Grey, Nina&Co, David Linely, Bompass&Parr, Henry Holland Studio, AREYOUMAD and OPEN!

Am always looking for new and exciting opportunities for collaboration - feel free to get in touch!
